Transforming pain into power

A word on Trauma...
The phenomenon of Trauma is less about the events themselves and more about our emotional experience with these events; our individual interpretations and perceptions of them. Trauma is deeply personal and shaped by our unique experiences.

Restoring Your Central Nervous System

Is your daily life impacted by constant stress, worry, and irritability? Does it feel like your emotions are running your life? Can the slightest thing set you off and the smallest comment result in a conflict with love ones?

If this sounds familiar, your Central Nervous System (CNS) might be needing some attention and calling out to you for it. Our CNS plays a critical role in our everyday lives, influencing our decision-making, mood, and reactions to stressors. When overwhelmed by trauma or chronic stress, the CNS can become dysregulated, leading to symptoms like insomnia, anxiety, difficulty regulating emotions, hyperarousal, and hypersensitivity.
Trauma occurs when we experience overwhelming emotions that we're unable to process or integrate. This can happen in childhood, as children may lack the capacity to fully cope with difficult experiences. Unprocessed trauma can become deeply embedded in our bodies, leaving our CNS in a perpetual state of survival mode, resulting in chronic stress, anxiety, and emotional dysregulation.
By utilizing research-based somatic techniques, we can help release these stored emotions and allow your CNS to reset. Through techniques like meditation, breathwork, and somatic attunement, we can help release stored emotions and restore your CNS to balance. When your system is rebalanced and functioning optimally, it will begin to work for you, rather than against you.
